Coffee Stop

This coffee shop is one of my favorite parts of my weekday mornings. The staff has always been extremely pleasant and friendly, and the service quick and speedy - while still producing quality beverages. The food is pretty tasty as well! I recommend the Lavender Latte - definitely a hit. Plus the whole bean roasts on the shelf are all great quality, organic, Fair Trade. Further, as a ex-barista through my teens, it is always nice to see the younger generation working in the local coffee shop. Nothing teaches or builds community like meeting and dealing with people on a realistic 'I have only been up for 10 minutes' mental state. So, thank you to all the staff, and thank you Curtis for keeping alive an entity that every community needs. You don't see people connect in a Starbucks like you ever will your local community Coffee Stop.

This is a fantastic little independent coffee shop, and a far cry from the pretentious, hipster shops that have cropped up in recent years. There's a woman that's always there, I assume she's THE Elva, and she is fantastic. Warm and friendly, she's quick with the drinks and makes sure you're enjoying them. I've had the Mexican mocha, both hot and blended, and it is amazing. I've also purchased the dark roast whole beans for home use and those are also fantastic. And on the weekends, she serves menudo. Piping hot, with just the right amount of spice, and my favorite hang over cure. Be sure to get it on Saturday though, as she makes a batch for the weekend and it has been sold out before Sunday.

Love the warmth & friendliness of this independent coffee shop!! From Mexican Mocha to bullet proof coffee to red bull smoothies, Elva's does not disappoint. If your lucky, Elva's mom is in there making homemade delights. Fast wifi doesn't hurt either. El Jefe approved!👍👍
